Educational Qualification for PGCIL Recruitment 2025:
- Full-time 3 years Diploma in Engineering in Power Engineering (Electrical)/Civil/ Mechanical/Fire Technology and Safety/ Electrical/ Electrical(Power)/Electrical & Electronics/Power Systems Engineering from recognized Technical Board/Institute with minimum 55 percentage marks.
- Higher Technical Qualification like ME/M.Tech/B.Tech/BE etc with or without Diploma is not allowed.
- Experience: Should have minimum of 1 year experience in safety implementation at work sites.
Duration:
- The engagement shall be purely on a contractual and temporary basis for an initial period of 2 years. The contractual period may be further extended for 1 year each for 3 years, for a maximum period of 5 years cumulatively, based on work requirement.

Age Relaxation:
- OBC (NCL) candidates: 3 years
- SC/ST candidates: 5 years
- Ex-Servicemen: As per Government of India directives Ex-Servicemen with a minimum of 6 month’s continuous service are allowed relaxation to the extent of the period spent in service plus 3 years subject to the condition that the resultant age after deducting his period of service from his actual age does not exceed the prescribed age limit by more than 3 years
Salary for PGCIL Recruitment 2025:
- Field Supervisor: Rs. 23,000 – 1,05,000/- per month
Selection Process:
- Selections shall be made on the basis of scrutiny of applications form w.r.t. eligibility criteria and desired experience profile and Screening Test of the candidates found eligible after scrutiny of applications.
- Candidates qualifying in the Screening Test shall be empanelled in the order of merit list of numbers obtained in screening test.
- The scheme of the screening test would be as following:
- The screening test would be of 1 hour duration.
- Technical Knowledge – 50 questions based on Diploma syllabus in the relevant branches.
- Aptitude Test – 25 questions tentatively
- All questions would be Multiple Choice Question type with 4 options and carry equal weightage (1 mark each) and there shall be no negative marking.
- Qualifying numbers would be minimum 40 percentage for Unreserved including EWS and 30 percentage for reserved vacancies (subject to reservation of vacancies).
- Candidates shall have the option for appearing in the Screening Test in English or Hindi.
- Centres for Screening test/CBT shall be across india and date of test shall be intimated separately to the applicants after scrutiny of application form.
- The Final merit list will be drawn purely on the basis of performance in the Screening Test/CBT.
