Educational Qualification for IOCL Recruitment 2025:
Assistant Quality Control Officers (Grade A0):
- The candidate should have been awarded Master’s Degree in Chemistry/equivalent branches from recognized Indian Institutes/ University through regular full-time mode.
- Equivalent branches in M.Sc. in Chemistry shall include Applied Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry/ Inorganic/ Organic/ Analytical/ Physical.
- Any other branch of Chemistry e.g. Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Food Technology, Pharmacy, Toxicology, Geochemistry etc. will not be considered towards eligibility.
- Candidates belonging to EWS/ General/ OBC (NCL) categories should have secured minimum 60 percent marks in qualifying degree examination.
- Marks in Qualifying degree is relaxed to 55% for Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) / Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates.
- Qualifying degree obtained through full-time regular degree course only shall be considered eligible.
- Experience Requirement: Minimum 02 Years Experience Required.

Selection Process for IOCL Recruitment 2025:
- The selection process will comprise
- Computer Based Test (objective type consisting of 2 parts)
- Discipline Knowledge and General Aptitude
- Group Task/Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
- Composite Merit list in descending order of marks (irrespective of category and relaxation) shall be drawn on the basis of total numbers obtained in the CBT and in Group Task/Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
- Based on the Composite Merit list and category wise names shall be shortlisted candidates as per notified vacancy and reservation.
- The candidates should secure minimum qualifying numbers as mentioned below in each stage i.e. CBT, Group Task/Group Discussion and Personal Interview, for consideration for next stage of selection process and finally adjudged suitable for selection
- Computer Based Test:
- OBC, General & EWS candidates: 40 out of 100
- ST, SC, PwBD & ExSM candidates: 35 out of 100
- GT/GD & Personal Interview:
- All categories: 40%
